April 22, 2020
Today - set priorities for your day - for your life.
April 23, 2020
Mistakes - they happen.
We are human.
Mistakes - what to do with them when they happen?
We have choices.
Shame doesn't help.
Change does help.
April 24, 2020
Life is cyclical.
We cannot control everything.
Transition is a part of life.
As things come - they also go.
Learning to let go is a process.
Sometimes we move easily with the changes in life.
At other times - it isn't so easy.
In fact, at times - it can be intensely difficult.
Today - be gentle with yourself as you observe the changes in your life.
Today - be kind to yourself as you witness the changes on this planet.
There is much to be learned, but it will take time.
Take this extra time to look carefully, listen deeply and feel with your entire body.
April 25, 2020
Grief affects every part of us - our thoughts - our feelings - our body, spirit and relationships. Managing it all, can be overwhelming at times. Many people are currently sharing that they miss the little things about regular daily life. Going to the grocery store. Going out to eat. Going to the park. Take time to allow yourself to adjust to the changes. Recognize that there are many adjustments to be made at this time in history.
The human race is being faced with a global health challenge and it will take time to find treatments and a cure for the coronavirus. We are resilient. We have faced monumental health challenges in the past. Think of smallpox, tuberculosis, measles and many other health issues that challenged previous generations. There is wisdom to be found from those who lived through these times.
May each of us find strength from community support, whether it be a neighbor, your family, co-workers or strangers. What we CAN do - is be role models for each other and especially for children. When they one day look back at this challenging time, may they have a sense of pride for the way the adults managed the current health crisis.
In whatever small way - do your best. Reach out for support if needed. Strive to do no harm. Many are hurting right now. Be part of the solution - not part of the problem.
April 26, 2020
Love is the strongest force the world possesses and yet, it is the humblest imaginable.
- Mahatma Gandhi
April 27, 2020
Quiet the mind.
Take care of your body.
Close your eyes.
Answers will emerge.
The answers that are best for you - will emerge.
They will emerge from within.
April 28, 2020
Do you feel overwhelmed? Many people are sharing that there are new emotions and feelings arising that are more intense than they have ever known. That makes sense given the many global events happening right now. We are in the midst of a pandemic. We haven't been down this particular road before. The uncomfortable feelings seem to persist - day after day.
People generally do better when they are able to quickly bring resolution to a problem. Some problems take much longer than others. This is one of them. There are no easy answers and practicing patience has never been so important, yet so difficult.
Remember when you were young and dreamed of growing up so you could be on your own and not have to clean your room? Answer to your parents or guardians? That one took years to accomplish, but you hung in there. None of us know, just how long the Coronavirus is going to stick around.
It is time to get creative. SUPER creative. We are going to need to dig deep within to discover new tools - new strengths we didn't know we had. We are going to need help along the way. We are going to have to ASK for help when things get dicey. Some days are going to feel just plain horrific.
I encourage each of you, to do your best. Reach out for support when you need to - even if you really, really do not want to. Do it anyway. It just might help. There are going to be days where you don't feel like you can "do your best". Give it what you have and start over the next day. You are worth it.

The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.
