Let's Talk - Insomnia

The topic of "Insomnia" is one I am frequently asked about.  What's a person gonna do?  I've personally had my bouts of insomnia over the years.  Tackling a sleep problem involves looking at the "big picture" of your day to day lifestyle.  There are key issues to look at initially:  

- use of caffeine (coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks, etc)

- amount of daily screen time (cell phone, tablets, television, video games)

- level of daily stress

- prescription medications (some have the side effect of RLS (Restless Legs Syndrome)

- sleep apnea

- snoring (yours, your partner and/or the dog)
