Reiki - Clarity Energy Renewal
This specialty session is tailored to your specific needs. After a complete intake consultation, a plan of care is discussed. Sessions include therapeutic interventions that have been shown to aid in reducing stress, emotional trauma and/or grief symptoms. Reiki, utilizing Sound Healing, Aromatherapy, Breathing Exercises and Chakra Balancing are some of the healing modalities that can be incorporated into a session.
Mind/Body healing modalities have been shown to significantly reduce post-traumatic symptoms in several clinical studies. Interventions are designed to help reduce: fear, stress, shame, isolation, numbing, flashbacks and nightmares.
Reiki is an ancient healing art that was re-introduced to the world in the early nineteen hundreds in Japan, by Master Mikao Usui. Reiki is Universal Life Energy. The Reiki Healing Art is passed on to the student by way of an ancient ritual performed by a Reiki Master Teacher. This ritual is known as the Reiki Initiation/Attunement procedure.
The ability to heal, is a gift that we all have. When one is initiated into Reiki, they become a more wide open channel for the transmission of healing forces. Reiki works on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. It helps ground the body, expand consciousness and balance emotions.
In the 1995-1996 Nursing Diagnoses: Definitions and Classification, by the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association, the definition of energy field disturbance made its entry into the world of professional nursing.
The Nursing Interventions Classification, which lists therapeutic touch, also specifies Healing Touch and Reiki. The use of these modalities calls for a focus on inner self, intention, and healing at all levels of consciousness. (1)
Reiki 5 Principles - Just for Today
The Reiki principles are spiritual ideals. As humans, we are all imperfect, and that is why each principle begins with "Just for today."
Just for today . . .
I let go of anger
I let go of worry
I'am filled with gratitude
I commit to my work
I am kind to others
